Local businesses joined together to raise a total of 400lbs of pet supplies for the Sapulpa Animal Shelter.

This year's "Dinner on Dewey" Chamber awards banquet had a special twist on who catered the food, plus see all the award winners.

Customers of Med-World Pharmacy pulled up to the drive-thru on Thursday morning expecting to fill their prescriptions as they had in the past, only this time they were met with unfamiliar faces and shirts that said “Walgreens” on them.

"As caretakers and educators, it’s heartwarming to see how well-behaved the children are and how they interact with each other and help each other. It proves to us they are soaking in what we are trying to teach them."

“I think all children deserve the best, and I feel like this is the best program available to the youth and our budding future generations.”

“I’m very excited by this. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Sapulpa community and very grateful for this opportunity.”

The realization of a dream more than three years in the making has Oklahoma seeing its first Taiyaki dessert shop in downtown Sapulpa, located at 24 E. Dewey Avenue.

“They can't just change the rules and try to enforce something that has already been ruled on in court."

Sapulpa's first real comic shop is off to a great start: Aaron Witten says "it's a market that needs it. People here, in Sand Springs, Bristow, Kellyville, they want to have a place to go."

"We've never had a team like this one! This marks the eighth straight year we’ve trained at least one summer intern, the first time we’ve had four." (The fourth one starts July 5th)
