Sapulpa City Council declines to move on new 5G tower amid heated debate

Monday’s city council meeting began with a full, buzzing room and police officers blocking further attendees due to room occupancy. Controversy surrounding the proposed construction of a new 5G Verizon tower generated significant public interest. 
Sapulpa’s emergency shelter still going strong at new location, will be available at least until noon Wednesday

So far, the shelter has seen 18 people, and they're not at capacity. "We're available for anyone who just wants to get in out of the cold and come warm up."
