OG&E says it won’t help County with tree debris

County Commissioners move forward on feasibility study for new county building

Chair Stephens said the study would first determine the needs of the Sheriff and Emergency Management, then it would factor in the cost of rehabilitating and remodeling the building versus erecting a new structure. If a new structure were deemed the most viable solution, the scope of the study would include determining the most suitable location.

County Commissioners discuss ARPA allocation

Possible applicants who were discussed were: Caring Community Friends, Youth Services of Creek County, Bristow Historical Society, and rural fire departments, among many others.

County receives nearly $128,000 from opioid settlement

Commissioners had previously voted to approve joining the new national opioid settlements with Teva, Allergan, CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart, and to authorize the District Attorney to sign the settlement participation forms on behalf of the County.
