Hutchins has resigned his post less than 48 hours after the board voted him in.

Kellyville Mayor Terry Voss stormed out of the meeting surrounded by Kellyville officers, where he collapsed in the parking lot and had to be attended to by paramedics.

The new system can have centralized dispatch, synchronized with mapping and addresses: "We can know where our guys are."

It's looking as though Kellyville will continue with at least two full-time officers, but the hiring of a third is still up in the air.

"If they keep this up, Kellyville will not have a police force in two weeks."

His philosophy is simple: “Just try to help people. I change as many tires as I write tickets…we’re all in it together.”
