Kellyville Police Chief and Town Administrator Shelly Garrett has been busy.
The last item on Tuesday’s agenda at the Kellyville Town meeting was what to do with a piece of property that had been donated to the town.
Vogt, a former mayor of the town, was nominated to retake the mayoral position, and Lynn was nominated Vice Mayor.
The historic foundation responsible for local festivals and celebrations will now be handled by the Town of Kellyville.

Kellyville trustees said goodbye to Bobby McGarrah, and looked back on some of the town’s most notable accomplishments.

The Heyburn Lake water treatment plant that provides water to Creek County Rural Water District 1, which includes Kellyville, suffered a major malfunction Sunday, resulting in a disruption of water service to that community.
Kellyville began a search for a new town attorney after the resignation of Clay Fees last month. At February’s meeting, on Tuesday the 9th, veteran local attorney Andrew Nestor III threw in his hat.
