Price Mart (2020 S Main), the former Warehouse Market store that changed names when the chain was purchased by Doc’s Food Stores in 2020, is changing hands again.

According to reports out of Springdale, AR., Doc’s Food Stores is set to be acquired by Springdale-based grocery supplier Harps Food Stores, Inc.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the acquisition means that Harps will scoop up an additional 10 stores across Oklahoma, including the Price Mart in Sapulpa.
Harps was founded in 1930 and is unique in as a 100% employee-owned operation. It currently has 6,500 employees and 148 stores across six states, including Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
It’s not clear how many employees will be added through this acquisition.

The other stores part of the acquisition are in Bixby, Collinsville, Coweta, Fairview, Glenpool, Newkirk, Okmulgee, Oologah, and Watonga.
