D-Luxe Dispensary in Sapulpa has officially closed

D-Luxe Dispensary in Sapulpa has officially closed, according to numerous sources familiar with the matter.

The dispensary was part of a multimillion-dollar commercial development approved in 2020 that featured a food truck park, gazebos, a dog park, a life-sized chessboard and an amphitheater.

When the project was officially announced, plans mentioned a “retail building,” but not many specific details about the facility were given. It was later found that the retail building would be a dispensary.

D-Luxe Dispensary sits dark on Monday afternoon. The dispensary officially closed over the weekend.

The food truck park, which went under the name D-Luxe Properties, tried to appeal to a more family-friendly audience in Sapulpa with frequent events, such as the popular Santa Land during the Christmas season and the “Let Freedom Fly” drone show in the summer.

A future expansion for a 250-person event center, additional parking, and a bridge connecting the food truck park to Kelly Lane Park has so far not materialized.

It’s unknown if the closing of the dispensary will affect the food truck park. There are currently no events listed on their website, however.

As of Monday, the large sign for the property still advertised a wholesale promotion for the dispensary from February 24th through Saturday, March 1st. The building itself sits dark, its parking lot empty.

The D-Luxe Dispensary website lists another location on Brookside in Tulsa, but calls to that location were disconnected.

The owner and publisher of the Sapulpa Times, Micah started the online news outlet in 2015 as a modern alternative to the local newspaper to help keep Sapulpa informed about their community and its organizations and events.
