What’s happening this weekend at the Route 66 Christmas Chute

It’s the week of Thanksgiving, and lots of people are in town and looking for things to do. Thankfully, Sapulpa has the Route 66 Christmas Chute to provide hours of entertainment, and stuff happening almost every day! Here’s a look at what we’ve got so far.

First, who will be open?

City hall will be closing at 4pm on Wednesday and we will be closed Thursday and Friday for the holiday. Several retailers downtown will remain open, and the Chute Committee is compiling that information now. Stay tuned!

Shop Small Saturday is this weekend, be sure to pick up your swag bag at Sugar Llamas between 9-10am before you head out to do some holiday shopping!

Sapulpa’s Church of the Nazarene is bringing back Polar Express! Tickets are just $2 each! Bring your kiddos and join us in your PJs as The Polar Express movie comes to life in the auditorium. We’ll have hot cocoa and cookies served by real life train conductors, photos with Santa and a gift for every child. 2 Showtimes to choose from, you have to get your tickets online!

Back by popular demand, the Sapulpa Parks Reindeer Dash is happening on Dес 2nd. For ages 2-15, there’s a 2-mile fun-run. Registration has already started, and there are only 75 spots available, so be sure to get those reservations in! $5 signup fee, and free hot cocoa and cookies! Call the Sapulpa Parks Department
