What to Do This Weekend (May 25 – 26)

Farmers' markets, bowling, a basketball tournament, and the opening of the Sapulpa pool dominate the weekend!

Saturday, May 25

Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers’ Market from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Creek County Courthouse parking lot. The market provides a healthy option for Sapulpa residents to purchase nutritious, quality, and locally-grown/produced food from farmers in the Tulsa/Sapulpa area.

Summer Youth Rising Stars Bowling League at 10:30 a.m. at Sahoma Lanes in Sapulpa. Sahoma Lanes, 1499 North 9th Street in Sapulpa. The cost is $8 per person.

1st Annual Sapulpa Police 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at 11 a.m. at the Chieftain Center, 1201 East Lincoln. The cost is $30 per team, a minimum of 3 players per team and a maximum of 4. Teams may enter the morning of the tournament!

Opening Day at Sapulpa Aquatics Center from noon to 6 p.m., 701 North Brown Street. Get some fun in the sun with a $4 day pass! Individual and family season passes are also available. For more information, visit their website at www.sapulpaparks.org or call 918-224-6262.

Cosmic Bowl from 10 p.m. to midnight at Sahoma Lanes, 1499 North 9th Street in Sapulpa. There will be black lights, music, and glowing pins! The cost is $60 per lane or $12 per person for 2 hours of bowling. This includes shoes. For reservations call 918-224-BOWL.

Sunday, May 26

Family Fun Day Outdoor Service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Way Church, 811 West Taft in Sapulpa. Make plans to bring your family to a special Memorial Weekend family fun day at The Way Church! They will have one big outdoor service that day as well as food, inflatables, and fun!

Adult & Youth Fun Rollin’ Bowling Summer Leagues at 1:30 p.m. at Sahoma Lanes, 1499 North 9th Street in Sapulpa. The cost is $10 per person.

Pizza and 4-Member Bowling League at 6:30 p.m. at Sahoma Lanes, 1499 North 9th Street in Sapulpa. The cost is $14 per person.

Other Area Events

Mounds Farmers’ Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays at 14th and Commercial in Mounds. There will handmade and home-grown products for sale, including eggs and tomato plants.

Route 66 Rodeo at 8 p.m. hosted by the Kellyville Round Up Club, located at 13325 South 177th West Avenue in Kellyville. Gate admission is $8 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for kids 5 and under. There will be barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, and many, many other events!

Free Music at Tidewater Winery from 9 p.m. to midnight on Saturday at the winery, 54560 West Highway 16 in Drumright. Drumright Class of 1969 is hosting the Alumni Music night! There will be no cover charge and all schools and classes are welcome. Music Featuring: The Henchman, Don Mitchell, Rocky Rockett, CD Osterhout, and special guests Randy and Gene Collier. Come by after the reunions and banquet for fun and music at the historic Tidewater Winery.  The tasting room will be open with sangrias, wine, Wine-A-Ritas, and beer along with coke products and water.
