Sapulpa Artists’ Guild Paint Classes from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Sapulpa Senior Citizen Center, 515 East Dewey Avenue. The class is free and help is available from art teacher Sam Houghton. The group works in oil, acrylic, and watercolor as well as pastels. There is an optional $20 per year membership donation. You may also visit the class before joining. Rock the Route from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot on the SW corner of Hobson and Park in Sapulpa. There will be live music by Weston Horn and The Hush. There will also be food trucks, free water, games for the kids, and a small cruise in for cars and trucks. Bring your lawn chairs and sit back and enjoy the evening! Walk This May from noon to 1 p.m. at Kelly Lane Park in Sapulpa. Presented by the Creek County Health Department, this is a call to walk in the park for an hour every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in May. You can bring your lunch, your friend, or your child! Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers’ Market from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Creek County Courthouse parking lot. The market provides a healthy option for Sapulpa residents to purchase nutritious, quality, and locally-grown/produced food from farmers in the Tulsa/Sapulpa area. Antique Automobile Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum, 13 Sahoma Lake Road in Sapulpa. This event will be hosted by The Antique Automobile Club of America Tulsa Region. All Automobile Clubs and individuals are invited to participate with their antique and collectible automobiles. Free museum admission, motorcycles are welcome, door prizes, People’s Choice Awards, and canopies for shade will be provided. There will be no fees and no judging.

Summer Youth Bowling at 10:30 a.m. at Sahoma Lanes in Sapulpa.

Oklahoma! Auditions from noon to 4 p.m. and Monday, May 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Sapulpa Community Theatre, 124 South Water in Sapulpa. You can sign up for an audition slot at http://SapulpaTheatre.org. Please bring 32-bars (1-2 minutes) of a song that demonstrates your vocal range and ability. A pianist will be provided; no pre-recorded accompaniment permitted. There will also be a brief dance audition to gauge movement abilities, so please bring clothes that allow movement. Open Benefit Horse Show at 8 a.m. at the Lazy D Ranch and Equestrian Center, 7114 South 145th West Avenue in Sapulpa. This show is open to EVERYONE! There will be a lead line class for the youngsters who are unable to ride alone at the beginning of lunch break. Backyard Barbecue and Tricycle Speedway Fundraiser from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at first Christian Church, 220 East Lee Avenue in Sapulpa. Custom Paw Print String Art Fundraiser from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at The Painting Gypsy Studio, 619 North Mission in Sapulpa. Help Sapulpa Furry Friends raise money and create a one-of-a-kind custom paw print string 12″x12″ pre-stained wooden sign. Signs with one name are $30. Additional pet names are $1 apiece. Other Area Events

Fifty-Five and Alive Workout at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Faith Fitness Center at Faith Church, 1901 West 171st Street South in Glenpool. The Faith Fitness Center at Faith Church has opened and it’s free to everyone! If you’re 55+ join them for this new class. It involves stretching and exercises to maintain a healthier body and is taught by Kim Clevenger.

Vintage Market Days of Tulsa from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Creek County Fairgrounds. Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage-inspired event featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings, and more. Scissortail Wrestling Club Summer Clinic on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bristow High School wrestling room. Featuring Oklahoma’s own, Boo Lewallen. Essential Handgun Skills Class on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Iron Gall Firearms, LLC at 732 East Indiana Avenue in Keifer. A one day class that will give you essential skills to take your handgun shooting to the next level and give you solid technique to practice and develop your skills.
