Saturday, June 8

Diane’s 2nd Annual Memorial Poker Run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., kicking off at Sapulpa Central Tech at 1720 South Main Street. The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger. Check in at Central Tech at 8:30 a.m.; kickstands up at 9:30 a.m. There will be food, drinks, and live and silent auctions. All proceeds to benefit nursing scholarships through Central Technology Centers in Sapulpa and Drumright. Donations are welcomed. All types of vehicles are welcomed! Serve My City-Sapulpa from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Guts Church Sapulpa, 911 East Dewey Avenue. Serve My City is a day that leads to relationships among believers of different denominational, racial and generational backgrounds; reflects God’s love to the world around us; and creates sustainable church partnerships that leads to ongoing service together across our city. As we all build a culture of unity, we encourage your church to identify other congregations to collaborate with Serve My City! Volunteers must be 12 years old or older. Sunday, June 9

Trail Obstacle Training Clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Boarding on Mane, 2835 South Main Street in Sapulpa. This event is hosted by West Equestrian Services and Training. This clinic is great for beginners up to advanced levels. Work on improving your ability to navigate trail obstacles and enjoy time with friends! You will work with Master CHA Instructor Cheryl West to improve your communication with your horse. Lunch will be potluck, so bring your favorite dish! The cost is $80 per person. Oblivium 2019: Pseudoscience Fair from Thursday, June 8 through Monday, June 10 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Route 66 Event Centre in Depew, 26101 Milfay Road. This is described as an “Oklahoma Burning Man-Inspired, participant-driven, experimental-art community.” Are you interested in such topics as: Predicting the end of the Earth? Explaining Ancient Astronauts? Crop Circles? Viewing the Face on Mars? Joining the Flat Earth Society? Researching the Moon Landing Conspiracy? The Bermuda Triangle? Among many other eccentric topics? Then this event is for you! They’d also like you to show off your skills in: Channeling, Dowsing, Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP), Extra-sensory Perception (ESP) , Levitation, and/or Numerology. Creek County Speedway Race on Thursday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at 18450 W Highway 66, Kellyville, Oklahoma. It’s raceday, and one driver will be King of Creek County! Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for Senior and Military, and FREE for kids 10 and under.

Kellyville Heritage Days on Saturday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Kellyville. There will be a car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor show, kids activities, inflatables, great food, live bands, vendors, a flea market, a city-wide yard sale, a cake walk, a parade, and more! Guests may also take advantage of the community splash pad and skate park! Proceeds all go back to projects for the community and to help citizens when disasters strike. Pop UP Event: Yoga in the Vineyard on Saturday, June 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Tidewater Winery, 54560 West Highway 16 in Drumright. Kristen Campbell will lead you through a simple yoga flow that is sure to leave you feeling peaceful in your mind and energized in your body! This is great for every level of yogi! The workout will be followed by a delicious champagne brunch. No experience required! Just bring your yoga mat, and an open heart. The cost is $20 per person. Patriotic Pet Photos hosted by Sapulpa Furry Friends on Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at PetSmart, 7322 South Olympia Avenue West in the Tulsa Hills shopping center. Join Sapulpa Furry Friends for Patriotic Pet Photos! Photos will be taken by SFF’s professional photographer. You’ve seen her work – she’s amazing! A fun and festive patriotic-inspired backdrop will also be a part of the photo. A $10 donation to SFF is encouraged. Photos will be placed on Facebook and emailed within 7-10 days after the photo shoot. Second Sunday Poetry at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 at the Tidewater Winery 54560 West Highway 16 in Drumright. Join them on the second Sunday of each month for poetry.
