What to Do This Weekend (January 10 – 13)

Support our community backpack program, your varsity wrestlers, or a church’s mission group in this weekend’s story.

Thursday, January 10

Caring Community Friends Food 4 Kids Backpack Packing at 3 p.m. in the Salvation Army gym, 1721 South Hickory Street in Sapulpa. Join them as they pack over 1,000 backpacks for Sapulpa Public Schools and Lonestar School! This program also provides food for Early Headstart, Headstart, and Bartlett Academy! Friday, January 11

Sapulpa Varsity Wrestling Tournament at 10 a.m. at the Chieftain Center in Sapulpa. Admission is $5. 15 area schools will be participating. They’re hoping for a loud and boisterous crowd to cheer them on so be sure not to miss it! For more information, please visit the website here.

Sunday, January 13

1students Mission Trip Fundraiser Lunch & Bake Auction from 12 to 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sapulpa, 200 South Elm Street. FBC students will be going on a mission trip this summer in Edmonton, Canada; this event is being held to help defray some of those costs. Lunch will be a mouthwatering meal of pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, a roll and dessert. Stick around after you eat and bid on desserts at the Bake Auction!
