It appears that the word for the weekend is FOOD. Nearly every event we have is some fundraiser or fall special for food. You think you ate a lot when you went to the Tulsa State Fair? Yeah, right.

Speaking of food, we’ve got a brand new event that will have you tapping the brakes for lunch on Tuesdays in October. Sapulpa Main Street has been listening to the community, and your calls have been answered. See the bonus event at the bottom!

Friday

Sapulpa Chieftains face off against the Sand Springs Sandites in their annual “Hwy 97 Rivalry” that dates back almost a century. Kickoff is at 7:30pm at Sapulpa’s Collins Stadium.

Miss the painting class on Friday? Not to worry, Over Edukated has 2 more on Saturday, one titled “Morning Mist” from 2pm-4pm, and another called “Fall Birch Trees” at 7pm.

It’s not fall if you don’t have Sapulpa Cub Scouts selling their popcorn. This Saturday, they’ll be at Ace Hardware from 2-4pm. The money they raise pays for their pack activities, and honestly, the popcorn isn’t bad. Plus, it’s been almost 24 hours since you had that funnel cake.

Sunday

Sunday, we’re either in church or sleeping off our food coma. Nothing to see here, folks.
