UPDATED: What to Do This Weekend in Sapulpa (Mar 9 – Mar 11)

This weekend is packed with lots of Chieftain sports, including Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer, JV and Varsity Baseball, a downtown Indie/Americana rock concert, roping, art events, and a pastor’s first anniversary at a local church. Free In-Person Tax Preparation* at the Sapulpa Public Library from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. This is a free program put on by AARP, for tax-payers of all ages, whether an AARP member or not! Their volunteers are IRS trained and certified every year, so go down to our wonderful library and take advantage! Who couldn’t use some help with getting their taxes finished?!

* This is an ongoing service provided by our library. It occurs every Wednesday and Friday at the same time (10 a.m. to 4 p.m) from February 23rd to April 13th.

Free Open Gym Pick Up Games for 5th, 6th, and 7th Grade Girls basketball players every Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Sapulpa Junior High School Gym starting tonight, March 9th.

Over Edukated $20 Saturday Open Paint from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m located at 114 East Dewey Avenue. You may choose from three stenciled canvases: a patchwork cat, a patterned owl, or Fido the Dog. There are a limited number of each 11×14 canvas, so make sure to save your place?

Annie Oakley Concert at 7 p.m at Water Street Tattoo. Annie Oakley is a folk-rock, Indie, Americana band based in Oklahoma City. Nothing’s better than live, local music on a Saturday night!



Free drinks at CTX Coffee from 3pm – 5pm. Sapulpa has a new coffee shop, and they’re kicking things off with freebies! Come to 11 N. Water on Sunday from 3-5pm and get your free coffee!


First Anniversary of Reverend and Sis Day at Mount Olive Baptist Church at 11 a.m. located at 130 North Gray Street. Join the Reverend, his wife, and their congregation as they celebrate their first year at the church!


Over Edukated Art Show at 3 p.m. located at their building at 114 East Dewey Avenue. This is an public art showing for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday’s enrolled Art students. Go see the amazing art their students have created and have some complimentary refreshments!
