“Unidentified remains” found within walking distance of Sapulpa soldier Greg Morales

Kileen, Texas police have confirmed that there have been “unidentified remains” found within walking distance of the shallow grave where Greg Morales was located, according to local news sources.

Vanessa Guillen, missing.

Local ABC affiliate KTRK said investigators are not sure at this point if the remains are human.

The remains were found on the evening of Saturday, June 27th, as a search is underway for another missing soldier, Vanessa Guillen, who was last seen in April of 2020.

So far, officials have not yet said if the two disappearance cases are connected.

Homicide detectives have removed the remains and sent them to a forensic science lab in Dallas for further review.

Greg Morales, of Sapulpa, was found last weekend in a shallow grave in the same field where these remains were found. His family is currently trying to get his deserter status changed in order to bring his remains home to Sapulpa.
