Two individuals wanted in connection with a murder investigation were pursued and arrested in Creek County, according to a statement from Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Just after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, an OHP trooper located a vehicle they believed to be stolen and connected to individuals wanted for accessory to murder, the department said in a post on their official Facebook page.
However, before the trooper could initiate a traffic stop, the driver fled, leading the trooper on a pursuit through what OHP described as “rural county roads northwest of Sapulpa.”
Eventually, the trooper was able to use a Tacticle Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver to bring the pursuit to “a safe end.”

According to OHP, the driver was identified as 31-year-old Colton Beisly, and the female suspect as 37-year-old Elizabeth McLendon. A second female passenger was released. Beisly and McLendon have bene booked into Creek County Jail and will be transported to Oklahoma County to face charges of accessory to murder.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol credited the Creek County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service for their assistance. “Their support was instrumental in helping ensure a safe and successful resolution,” they said.
