In an official statement that went out on December 19th, Sapulpa City Attorney David Widdoes announced the start of a series of Town Hall meetings with the intent of answering the community’s questions regarding the upcoming GO bond election scheduled for January 14th.

The first Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 7th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with another session that same day from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Both meetings will take place at Sapulpa City Hall.

“The purpose of our meeting is to provide information and answer questions so you have the best information to make an informed decision,” the document reads.

There have been reports that further town hall meetings are scheduled in the following days, but those are not yet confirmed and may be dependent on the turnout for the first Town Hall meeting.
