The best-lit houses in Sapulpa this Christmas

One of the best parts of the season is walking or driving around to see all the Christmas lights. Sapulpa has a lot to offer with its Christmas decor—from the traditional to the modern, and everything in between. While most of us know about Paragon and that really cool house set to music on Teel Road, we know there’s more to be seen. Here are several of the best houses we found worth checking out, plus see our recommendations for a good drive!

Make it easy and get the map!

Update: To make it easier for you to hop in the car and go exploring, we’ve compiled all of these houses into a map! We’ll also have a printed version available in Friday’s Christmas Eve paper!

Bryan and Oklahoma

Not only do you have one corner that went all out, but on the opposite side, you have a stately two-story that chose to keep it Dickensian with garland and simple candles in the windows.

Burham Avenue in the Lakes at Jefferson Heights

The Lakes at Jefferson Heights addition is good for a drive. Burham Avenue in particular has several houses side by side that got into the holiday spirit.

Keeling Ave in the Lakes at Jefferson Heights

This cool blue house is not hard to notice, especially since most of the traffic in Jefferson Heights has to drive right by it.

The “Tree Farm” at the Corner of University and Boyd

A still photo doesn’t do this one justice, with its collection of brightly lit, blinking trees. Enjoy this animated gif:

The light show at Independence and McKinley

Easily one of the most exciting new additions for the year, this is the only house set to music we could find within Sapulpa City Limits.

Corner of Lee Ave and Lee Circle

We loved the simplistic but full effort they put in with the bushes and the icicle lights—classy without being too much.

Line Ave and Woodview Lane

We’re calling this one “the heart house.” See if you can guess why.

Two-for-one at Adams, between Cleveland and Grayson Ave

This great two-for-one set has at least two neighbors participating, plus an empty lot next door full of blow-ups!

SW Corner of Bryan and Adams

This home has almost every blowup imaginable, and we’re told that the parents do it to bring delight to their autistic son, who loves them. We do, too!

Gail Lane in the Applegate Estates

By far one of the most well-lit houses in the neighborhood, this house has been decorating like this for years, and never gets old.

81st, between Hwy 97 and Pretty Water School

Can’t believe we missed this one the first time around. Even bigfoot gets into the holiday spirit!

East on 71st off of Hwy 97

A reader told us about this one—her grandparents went all out on blowups this year. We’d have to agree!

211 S. Walnut

715 N. Elizabeth

1038 E Courtney Ave

Fairlane Ave between Boyd and Watchorn

Poplar between Lincoln and McKinley

Musical House north of Hwy 117 and Pioneer Rd

Sent in by a reader – one of the best we’ve seen this year! They say the show starts at 5:30 pm and runs until 10:00 pm during the week and 11:00 pm on the weekends. Don’t miss this one!

Where to go to take a drive:

If you’re just looking to see a neighborhood full of Christmas lights, big and small, we’d recommend checking out these:

  • Lakes of Cross Timbers (Hwy 117, East of Sapulpa)
  • Lakes at Jefferson Heights (Wickham Road, west of Walmart)
  • Hickory South Addition (South of Teel on Hickory Ave)
  • Valley Ridge (Just off Hwy 117, East of Luker Lane)
