Friday, September 20, 1912, Creek County Republic: County Court Adjourned Tuesday

“Most successful term ever held in Creek County with County Judge Warren H. Brown, who adjourned the July term of the County Court last Tuesday evening. The jury was dismissed about 5 pm and Judge Brown, before dismissing them, thanked each juror for his faithful performance of duty, and in turn the jurymen, through Geo. W. Ripley, thanked Judge Brown for the courteous treatment and fair dealing they had received at the courts hands. The volume of business transacted at this term has excelled that of any previous term and the docket is nearer cleared now than in the history of the county. Judge Brown expects to hold a criminal term of court just as soon as the District Court adjourns, and expects to clean the criminal docket as near as possible.”
