Football: Chieftains take down Tahlequah
What a game it was in Tahlequah last Friday night! The Chieftains battled for four quarters, eventually pulling ahead with just 27 seconds left in the game on a Marco Smith rushing touchdown. It was a collective group effort with the Band, the tie-dyed student section, cheerleaders, and Pings all cheering their hearts out! Of course, the rest of the fans were amazing, too! Bartlesville travels to town this Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 pm. Gates will open at 5:30 pm, but you can purchase your tickets ahead of time via GoFan (or download the GoFan app and search for “Sapulpa”).
Live stream it on Chieftain TV or listen live on the radio: ESPN 99.9

Softball
The ladies are at home TOMORROW as Collinsville travels to town. This is a big game for the Lady Chieftains and they would love to see you there! NEXT Thursday (Sept. 15) is senior night. Mark your calendar to come help us celebrate our amazing ladies.
Volleyball
The volleyball ladies are on the road this week, BUT have two HUGE games at home next week! Sand Springs travels to town NEXT Tuesday (Sept. 13). It will be $1 for Sapulpa students with their ID. THEN, volleyball senior night is the same night as softball senior night. BUT DON’T WORRY, the timing of the two celebrations will allow you to get to both. PLUS, we will honor tickets bought at either event to allow patrons into both games.
Band
The Big Blue Band is always thinking ahead and helping you plan for your desserts for Thanksgiving! See the attached flier for information on buying a cheesecake. See any band student to place your order!
