Big Blue Band

The Big Blue Band brought home First Place from the Oologah Stallion Battalion Saturday! They also received both caption awards, one for First Place Percussion and one for First Place Color Guard! Congrats to this incredible group! Good luck as they travel to the Bixby Marching Contest this coming Saturday (October 2nd) at 10:30am. Tickets to this event are $10.

Cross Country

Cross Country also brought home some hardware from the Edmond Pre State meet Saturday.

The varsity boys placed 2nd, along with the following individuals that medaled:
Varsity medalists: Jasmine Brown, Mason Quinton, Evan Quinton, and Izsik Meza
JV medalists: Ariana Cazzell, Schuyler Stephens, Jaxson Lary, Jackson Harwood, Trystin Miles Hoggatt, Titus Ellis, Luis Nunez, and Brian Slone

They are looking forward to racing at the University of Arkansas this weekend.

Football

The football team advances to 3-1 overall (1-0 in district) after defeating Memorial 47-8 on homecoming night last Friday. Collinsville travels to town this Friday for a BIG district matchup. It is pink-out night if you’d like to participate in the theme. The game will be live-streamed on Chieftain TV. 

Ping Pings

Also, it will be the 50th celebration of the Ping Pings. We will pre-sale tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 am – 2 pm in the ticket booth at the stadium. Adults – $7 / Students – $5.  We are looking forward to a great night.

Homecoming

Daisha Blation and Sebastian Fernandez.

Congrats to senior cheerleader and cheer captain, Daisha Blation, on being crowned our 2021 homecoming queen!

Softball

Softball season is quickly coming to an end already. The ladies have games at Muskogee and Coweta this week before regionals begin October 7.

Volleyball

The volleyball postseason is approaching quickly, too. The ladies go to Owasso and Skiatook this week. Regionals will be the week of October 11.

Winter sports are here

This Friday brings the official start of winter sports. We are excited for the upcoming basketball and wrestling seasons. You can get all schedules here after they’re uploaded.
