A star-studded cast is sure to make waves in the season premiere of Sapulpa Community Theatre’s “Murder by the Book,” which opens March 4th.

The new show features an all-star lineup of seasoned community actors portraying several of the world’s greatest literary authors.

“Murder by the Book” is a murder mystery with frequent dramatic and comedic situations involving a group of regular folks that are known to each other only as their characters: Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie, Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson, Louisa Mae Alcott, Mary Shelley, Charlotte Bronte, Arthur Conan Doyle and more. The secret society gathers together once a year to decide on the best and worst books of the year, and the annual gathering turns deadly when the world’s most famous authors begin dying in a very suspicious and familiar manner.
