Sapulpa’s 2016 United Way Campaign is underway. Sapulpa campaign committee members established a goal of $293,000 to help the Tulsa Area United Way meet an overall goal of $24,873,000. This year’s campaign chairman is Vickie Beyer, and co-chair is Patty Hershberger.

Each year, Sapulpa participates with the Tulsa Area United Way to raise money to help 60 partner agencies provide services in the areas of health and safety, education, and financial stability. Last year, more than 12,000 residents in the Creek County service area received support from local agencies – some just once, some every day. Camille Teale, Outreach Coordinator for Sapulpa agency Caring Community Friends, serves as this year’s Loaned Executive for the campaign. As an agency employee, Teale knows the importance of United Way funding.  “Without the generous support of the United Way, my work at the agency simply would not be possible. Knowing that the United Way is committed to sustaining our small agency allows me to focus on what matters most: fighting food insecurity and offering help to our neighbors in need.”

“When you contribute to the Sapulpa campaign, know that every dollar of your gift stays right here in Sapulpa. Your donation will make a direct, positive impact in the lives of our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Your giving helps make Sapulpa a better place to live,” said Beyer.
