On the second floor of the Sapulpa Historical Society Museum (100 E. Lee) are two rooms dedicated completely to local veterans and the effects Sapulpans have had on the war efforts through the years.

As a special part of this Memorial Weekend issue, we’re including a full list of military veterans who attended the Euchee Mission Boarding School, the site on which the Sapulpa High School and Jr. High Campus sits now. The school officially opened in 1894 and closed in 1947.

Over 170 veterans are named, along with their tribe, their branch of service, which conflict(s) they served in, and if they were Killed In Action (KIA), Wounded In Action (WIA), or a Prisoner of War (POW).
