Sapulpa suffering bill payment issues because of network failure

If you’d tried to pay your water bill the last few days, you might’ve seen what we did: a “please your request again later” message or something similar.

Turns out, you’re not alone. Sapulpa sent out an alert today stating that a network failure has rendered the city unable to accept electronic payment or process bills.

The good news is that if you needed a few extra days to cover the payment, you’ve got it—Sapulpa says a payment that would normally be due on the 5th will now have the until the 13th, and a bill normally sent out on the 5th will now not go out until 10th.

No word yet on when the network will be restored.

DUE TO A NETWORK FAILURE THE CITY OF SAPULPA IS UNABLE TO ACCEPT ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS OR PROCESS BILLS. IF YOUR BILL IS DUE NOVEMBER 5th THEN YOU WILL HAVE UNTIL NOVEMBER 13th TO MAKE PAYMENT WITHOUT PENALTY. IF YOUR BILL IS NORMALLY SENT OUT THE 5th OF THE MONTH, IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND SENT UNTIL THE 10th FOR THIS BILLING CYCLE, AND YOUR DUE DATE WILL BE EXTENDED BY 5 DAYS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.
