The Chieftains had a tough three days last week, but had LOTS of success! Thursday night saw the Chieftains defeat a strong 6A school (Enid). Then this weekend, our varsity went to Jenks to wrestle in the Larry Wilkey invitational. Also, our JV wrestlers and HS girls traveled to Inola to compete in a tournament that hosted 42 teams.

Medalists from Jenks:

Sponsored by:

  • Caydon Miller 113 lbs – 4th Place
  • Jackson Willingham 120 lbs – 4th Place
  • Ethan Peterson 132 lbs – 5th Place
  • Cohlson Peper 160 lbs – 2nd Place

Girls medalists from Inola:

The varsity Chieftains travel to Claremore this week for district duals and the JH travels to Pryor for district duals.

It was a great weekend for basketball! The men went 2-1 in the Lincoln Christian Tournament and the ladies went 3-0 and were tournament champions! Tyla Heard was named to the All-Tournament Team and Stailee Heard was the Tournament MVP, on the ladies’ side!┬áBoth teams are at home twice this week; Tuesday against Booker T. and Friday against Muskogee.
