Sapulpa police have arrested 28-year-old Joshua Stafford in connection with a homicide reported on Saturday morning, according to a statement on their Facebook page.
Multiple news outlets report that a woman was found dead in a home “near Teel and Hickory” on Saturday morning. Police later clarified the scene as the 2400 block of South Cedar.
The alert went out just after 1:00 pm that Stafford was being sought in connection with the homicide. By 1:51 pm, Stafford was in custody.
Currently, the suspect is at the hospital getting medically cleared by staff, but no other information has been released yet.
