ORLANDO, Fl. — Sapulpa Ping Pings were named the 2020 Dance Team Union National Champions on Sunday, Feb. 23.
The Pings competed in four categories and beat 10 other schools across the country, including Edison HS, to win the Varsity Team Performance at the DTU National Championships. They also had strong finishes in two other categories – Kick (2nd) and Jazz (5th).
Earlier this year, the Pings won the state championship in 6A Kick and 6A Mix. It was the seventh straight year the team brought home a state championship trophy.
