Sapulpa FFA caps off eventful year with annual banquet

Sapulpa FFA celebrated an eventful year this week at their annual banquet on May 12th at The Way Church. During their year Sapulpa FFA saw success on the local, state, and national level.

The chapter attended 18 CDE contests, and 12 LDE contests. Power & Technology students created 15 metal projects. Plant & Soil Science students planted 3,500 plants. Members competing in Agriscience spent over 300 hours cumulatively researching their projects. In total, the chapter had over 400 community service hours.

On the national level, the chapter and its members received three awards. The chapter was recognized as a National Three Star Chapter. This award recognizes chapters in the top 10% of the nation based on their work in Building Communities, Growing Leaders, and Strengthening Agriculture. Sapulpa FFA member Leo Enlow was awarded a Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship. Sapulpa FFA Alumni, Alexis Enlow was a Proficiency national finalist in Goat Production last October at the National FFA Convention.

At the 100th Oklahoma State FFA convention, the chapter and its members received numerous awards. The chapter was recognized as a Model of Excellence Chapter, highlighting them as a top 5 chapter in the entire state. The chapter was also the Chapter Trust Award winner for their financial contribution to the state trust fund. It’s members had one State Degree Recipient, Rachel Beverlin. Leo Enlow placed 3rd for Ag Services Proficiency and 5th for the State Auctioneering CDE Contest. Two members, Isaiah Edmonson and Eli Beck, placed 5th Welding Series Team. Olivia Harris placed 5th for her Chapter Reporter Scrapbook. The chapter had 5 Area Qualifying Speech Contestants and 9 Making Things Better Program Recipients who each completed 5 community service projects; Dilyn Lay, Madison Albers, Kennedy Duca, Carter Coble, Allie Enlow, Shelby Gonzalez, Sophie Rupert, Taelynn Russell, and Stella Kellogg.

The chapter had 13 Discovery FFA Degree Recipients with Allie Enlow as the STAR Discovery winner, 12 Greenhand FFA Degree Recipients with Rex Harris as the STAR Greenhand winner, and 18 Chapter FFA Degree Recipients with Olivia Harris as the STAR Chapter winner.

At the end of the banquet, the chapter announced the 2026-2027 Sapulpa FFA Officer Team.
