Sapulpa Business History and Stories Compiled in New Book from Bob Nale

Sapulpa realtor Bob Nale has compiled a book of his commercial real estate dealings over the past 40 years — including nearly the last one of 2015. The self-published book will be of special interest to local history buffs.

Copies are being given to the Sapulpa Historical Museum and local library. You also can request a copy by contacting Nale’s office.

The book, simply titled “The Bob Nale Story” also includes newspaper clips of Nale’s early years as operator of a local bowling alley and how its destruction by fire led him into the real estate business. There’s the TG&Y, Burger King and Safeway stories and how those properties became homes of subsequent new businesses. Nale helped the Post Office to move, and Safeway to Homeland which is now Westlakes.

The book was compiled from recorded transactions on file at Nale’s office. Associate Kimberly Furstenberg spent countless hours on the project. Don Diehl did some light editing. The book was printed by Merrifield Office Supply. Nale dedicates the work to his clients and community.
