The Sapulpa Boys Soccer team opened the 2018 soccer season with a statement win. Their months of hard work and continuous effort and attitude showed up in a big way.

They out shot the Ponca City Wildcats 20 to 4 en route to a 4 to 0 victory. The defense continually shut down their attack the entire game with great toughness. The attacking side just continued to flow and become more productive as the game wore on. The Chieftains showed that they were fit and up to bringing a new brand of winning soccer to Sapulpa. They defined Chieftain Strong to a tee.

Goals were scored by Kaivon Mortazavi, Alan Perez, and Ethan Castillo with 2. The defense was led by Spencer Braswell and Carson Lamproe in the shut out. Next game is Tuesday at home vs the Edison Eagles. Girls at 6 and Boys at 8.
