Creek County voters can now view or download sample ballots for the Aug. 25 Federal, State and County Runoff Election.
Sample ballots are available through the Oklahoma Voter Portal at https://oklahoma.gov/elections/ovp. Printed copies are also available during regular business hours at the Creek County Election Board office, 230 E. Hobson Ave. in Sapulpa.
According to Creek County Election Board Secretary Vicki Martin, the ballots displayed in the online portal are specific to each voter’s precinct. Only voters who have an election on Aug. 25 will see a sample ballot available in the portal.
If the Oklahoma Voter Portal indicates that no sample ballot is available, it means the voter is not eligible to vote in an upcoming election. Election officials encourage residents to check the portal before heading to the polls to confirm they have an election and to review their ballot in advance.
Sample ballots will also be posted outside each polling place on Election Day so voters can review them before casting their ballots.
The Creek County Election Board is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 230 E. Hobson Ave. in Sapulpa.
