As director of the Sapulpa Artists’ Guild, I would like to thank the Sapulpa Times for their support in covering our first annual art exhibit and show. It gave our local artists an opportunity to show the community their work and a chance for public to meet them and get acquainted with them as well as viewing their work. We also would like to thank Jody Baker, director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Sapulpa, for the use of the center for the exhibit, and his assistant Krystal Lomenick. A special thanks to the citizens of Sapulpa, that attended the show. Our time and effort was well worth it, from the response we received. The Guild members meet and paint at the Senior Citizen Center on Thursday evenings. The class is open and free to anyone who would like to paint with us.
