Reed Architecture and Interiors has hired Intern Architect Addison Hagar and Executive Assistant Tiffany Thompson.
“It feels like two family members have returned to the roost,” said David Reed, principal and founder of the Sapulpa firm. “Addison interned with us the last two summers, so we came to know and appreciate her as one of our own. And Tiffany, she literally is family!”
Thompson is the daughter of RAI Chief Financial Officer Rhonda Gerrior. Rhonda is David’s sister.
“It is great,” Tiffany said of working for her uncle and mom. “I’ve always had the highest respect for them. It is not that different, having them as a boss, but my mom, she teases me all the time! I love working for her. It’s so much fun, getting to come in and spend so much time with them.”

Both Addison and Tiffany graduated from Oklahoma State University, which heightens the family ties. Half of the Reed Architecture and Interiors team hails from OSU, starting with David, a huge Cowboys booster.
“Our firm always strives to deliver the best possible service to our clients,” he said with a smile. “To do that, you must employ the best people.”
Addison grew up in a construction environment.
“My father and uncle are both carpenters,” she explained. “Being a hands-on person, I got involved in everything. As I grew older, I wanted to experience the design side of it as well.”
She joined the Reed team in May, immediately after obtaining her architecture degree.
“I really enjoyed my internships here,” she said. “I felt like the people were super-welcoming and they taught me a lot. I also really enjoyed the types of projects they work on.”
Through its first 15 years, Reed Architecture and Interiors accumulated a wealth of experience in athletic, educational, commercial, civic, recreational, and religious projects. Her two internships exposed Addison to many of these.
“I love how they work on all these important things that help the community,” said the 2020 Wellston (OK) High School graduate, “and they let you pick what you want to work on. It provides me a lot of opportunities as I begin my career.”
Tiffany, a 2021 OSU grad, brings several organizational talents to her post. She draws from hands-on small-business experience through her firm T2 Design, maker of custom clothing products for pet owners. This 2016 Broken Arrow (OK) High School graduate also credits the operational and teamwork skills she learned from its championship band program.

“Working here and with T2 gives me a variety of options to expand,” said Thompson. “I really appreciate how this firm encourages such growth.”
This marks RAI’s third addition this year. Interior Designer Abigail Jamison joined the team in February.
David said Addison and Tiffany have already contributed to Reed’s advances.
“They both jumped in from Day One, benefitting our team in so many ways,” said Reed. “And they both grasp our vision and mission, which is vital to our success. I really appreciate their hearts for serving.”
