The robbery happened early Wednesday morning, at DAK’s Market, located at 309 N. Mission Street, according to Sapulpa Police Captain Mike Sole.

According to police, the three suspects entered the store at about 3:00 am and two of them immediately went behind the counter and began grabbing tobacco products. The night clerk was out on the floor “doing some store housekeeping,” and not behind the counter when the suspects entered the store, Captain Sole told Sapulpa Times.

The third suspect, who was armed, approached the night clerk and pointed the gun at them, demanding they go back to the counter and get them the money from the cash register.

The clerk did as she was told and the suspects left shortly after, fleeing the scene on foot.

Sapulpa police estimate approximately $250 worth of cash and product were stolen during the robbery. The suspects are still at large.
