Photos: Kiwanis pancake event sees big turnout despite rain

Nearly 600 hungry supporters filtered through the door on Friday for pancakes and bacon to support the Kiwanis.

A miserable rainy Friday couldn’t keep the hungry patrons aways from the idea of all-you-can-eat pancakes and bacon.

The Sapulpa Kiwani’s Club, along with help from SHS Key Club, SJH Builders’ Club, SMS Builders’ Club, served nearly 600 hungry supporters that turned out for the event, according to Kiwani Treasurer Kathy Berryhill.

This annual event, under the direction of Kiwanian Kelvin Misner, raises funds for local scholarships as well as many of the other Kiwani charitable donations that benefit children.
