Police say a homeless man struck by a vehicle last Thursday remains in intensive care as of Monday morning.
According to police, the man was walking down the middle of 49th W. Ave in pouring rain between 4:15 and 4:30 am on Thursday morning when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south on 49th W. Ave
News On 6 originally reported that the man was wearing dark colors and that the driver said they didn’t have enough time to stop when they saw him.
The driver stayed on the scene to help and cooperate with the police when they arrived. Sapulpa Police are awaiting more information as the man is still in intensive care as of Monday morning.
