Virginia Lee Copley, age 91, loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with Our Heavenly Father peacefully at home on July 10, 2019. Virginia was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on March 6, 1928, to Harold and Jessie Alberding. She has lived her entire life in Sapulpa. She married Raymond Copley on November 21, 1945. They had three children, Mitchell, Tonya and Dallas. Virginia was a housewife but work diligently at taking care of her family and friends. She and Raymond traveled to various churches over the years playing music. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her parents, a brother (Harold Dean), and two sisters (Jane and Judy). She is survived by her children: Mitchell Copley (Gertrude), Tonya Glandon, and Dallas Copley (Brenda). Her brother, Bob Alberding and sister, Donna Jo Alberding. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amy Copley, Heather Copley, Shawna Hutchison (Don), Chad Henderson (Crystal), Erik Henderson, Dallas “Little D” Copley (Heather) and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation – Sunday July 14, 2019 from 1:00pm – 8:00pm at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.
Funeral Service – 2:00pm Monday July 15, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.
Final Resting Place – Green Hill Memorial Gardens Sapulpa.
