Timothy John Wouters, age 56, passed away Thursday March 1st, 2018 in Jenks, OK, at his residence.
Tim was born April 8th, 1961, in Riverhead, NY to Raymond J. Wouters and Eileen Sullivan-Wouters. He grew up in Riverhead, NY with his siblings Sheila Danforth, Raymond Wouters, Maureen Madigan, Dennis Wouters, and Patti Day.
He was a jack of all trades. Tim had many jobs, including his first job making New York style pizza at the age of 16 (when he learned he could drink beer), as well as a car salesman, in retail, as a warehouse worker, a taxi driver, and a shop hand.
Tim battled cancer in the early 2000’s and became disabled, but that didn’t keep him down. He spent countless hours volunteering his time to local charities and ministries. He used much of his own money shopping auctions to donate the items to various churches, ministries, and local organizations.
Tim was always busy. He spent years on the Sapulpa ball fields coaching his kids along with many other kids. He was able to cook, clean, and plan parties faster than anyone around. He was also known for his spontaneous planning, or lack of planning, quick road trips and vacations.
Tim was a diehard Oklahoma Sooner fan. He also loved his New England Patriots and New York Yankees.
Tim was considered by many to have a huge heart. His willingness to open his home to complete strangers for a warm holiday meal, his love for our veterans, and his willingness to lend a hand when he was able, all displayed how much he cared for people. He also loved just being around family. His grandkids quickly became center stage and he loved having them close by. Along with people, family, and grandkids, his dogs, Onyx and Suzie, were among what he loved most.
Tim was proceeded in death by his father Raymond J. Wouters of Riverhead NY; stepmother Gertrude Wouters of Westhampton NY; Brother Raymond Wouters of Florida; sister Sheila Danforth of Sapulpa, OK; and mother Eileen Sullivan-Wouters of Sapulpa, OK.
Tim is survived by his wife, of the home, Phyllis White-Wouters; step-son Ross White of Jenks, OK; step- daughter Kelly and husband Shawn Petty of Sand Springs, OK; step-daughter Raelynn White of Bristow, OK; mother-in-law Dorothy McNac of Tulsa, OK; mother of his biological children Keli Johnson of Sapulpa, OK; son Bradley and wife Stacy Wouters of Sapulpa, OK; daughter Casie and husband Steve George of Sapulpa, OK; son Cory Wouters of Sapulpa, OK; and daughter Skylar Johnson of Sapulpa, OK.
