Scottie Neil Wilmott, 82, of Kiefer passed from this life on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. He was born on February 10, 1936 in Glenpool, OK to Lee and Glenda (Blake) Wilmott. He was a mechanic at American Airlines for 32 years and 6 months, retiring in May 1992. He served as Mayor of Glenpool for 13 years. He served his country in the U. S. Airforce.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Wilmott of the home; children, Paul Douglas Wilmott, Victoria Denise Garrett and Neva Louise Hunter; grandchildren, Mindy Thomas, AJ Wilmott, Courtney Brown, Roger Brown, Ashley Loveless, Jason Garrett, Travis Garrett, Carrie Garrett, Melanie Whitesell, Julie Hunter and Ronnie Hunter; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jack Wilmott and wife, Jane; and 2 sisters-in-law, Pat Wilmott and Marie Wilmott.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Dena Lee Powell; parents, Lee and Glenda Wilmott; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Scottie’s name, www.cancer.org. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
