Robert Farrand 78, of Mannford, passed from this life on June 5, 2018.

Robert was born in Sapulpa on October 27 1939 to Linnie and Clarence Farrand. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1957 and enlisted in the Marine Corps where he met his future wife Karen. Their two sons Michael and James were born at the Navy Hospital Camp Pendleton where he was stationed. His other duty stations included Japan, Vietnam, Okinawa, and Hawaii. When he retired from the Marine Corps he and his wife settled in Mannford on Keystone Lake.
Robert loved to fish, especially with his brother-in-law Waldo. He also loved to garden, he liked growing enough vegetables for his whole family. When he got tired of being retired, he went to work at Rockwell in security for 10 years. After that he became a Tax Preparer for H & R Block until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, Children; Michael and James, Grandchildren; Jarrik, Hadli, and Keilin, Sister; Janice Kay Kelly of Dallas Tx,; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be grave side at Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 1 p.m. June 11, 2018. Visitation will be the 9th and 10th of June.
