Robert L. Bean, 87, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born October 8, 1933, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Thomas Harry and Mary Needham Bean.  

Robert joined the United States Army and was stationed in San Luis Obispo, California.  He met the love of his life Wanda Sue Clark in Santa Maria, California and they were blessed to be married for 67 years. Wanda just happened to be from Sapulpa too proving that it truly is a small world. 

Robert was a master mechanic and was the head custodian at Washington Elementary School in Sapulpa.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting.  He also enjoyed traveling.  His greatest joy was his family who loved him dearly.  He will be greatly missed by all. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Bean; brothers Francis Bean and wife Doris, Paul Eugene Bean and wife Myrna and Elmer Bean and wife Louise; sister Mary Sophie Carder and husband Don and sons Thomas Edward Bean and Darrell Lynn Bean. 

Robert is survived by his wife Wanda Bean; sons Robert (Robbie) Bean and wife Rose, Luther Eugene Bean and David Alan Bean; daughter-in-law Jeanette (Pearl) Bean; grandchildren Shay Bean, Christy Anderson and husband Ryan, Robbie (Sis) Bean, Kimberly Franer, Dylan Bean, Noah Bean, Hanna Bean, Christopher Fuller and wife Rebecca and Cody Fuller and wife Tia; great-grandchildren Tyler Scott, Tyson Scott, Brenden Bean and Tatum Scott and many other extended family and friends. 

Memorial services will be 6:00pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.
