Omer Orval Geller was born June 2, 1926 to Clarence and Pearl Geller. He departed this life January 12, 2020 at the age of 93. He had been born and raised in Bristow, Oklahoma.
Omer was a decorated World War II veteran and spent his working career in construction and was a union roofer until his retirement in 1987. He was an avid fisherman who provided catfish for many family fishfries. He was also an avid gardener who enjoyed sharing his vegetables with others. He was a valued member of his extended family and left them laughing at his dry humor. He became the family caretaker, caring for dad and looking out for his sisters. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by nephews, Ron Stubblefield and wife Patricia, Doy Geller and wife Beverly, Daryl Geller and wife Sue Beth; nieces Joyce Stubblefield and Judy Branscum; Great nephews, Matt Stubblefield and Sean Stubblefield; great nieces, Angela Hardin and Kenna Conner; great great nephews, Jarred Hardin, Jayce Hardin and Josh Conner; great great nieces, Hillary Barnes and Tiffany Hardin; Cousins, Jim Geller and wife Lydia and Rachel Masterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Geller and Pearl (Morgan) Geller; wives, Margaret Geller and Joyleen Geller; sisters, Marjorie Stubblefield, Betty Helm and Thelma Davis; brothers, Virgil Geller, Clarence Geller Jr. and Donald Geller.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Saturday at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Daryl Geller officiating. Interment will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
