Noma Jean Wolfe

Noma Jean (Jones) Wolfe went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2018 surrounded by loved ones in Oklahoma City. She was born on September 24, 1937 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a devout Christian who touched many lives as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and teacher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend A.B. and Elva Jones and her husband, Jimmie Lee Wolfe. She is survived by her sister, Wanda Turley; three sons, James, Joel, and Jay Wolfe; grandchildren, Jessica, Vincent, Carissa, Katherine and Stephen; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Arraya, Lilith, KyMani, Kaleiya, Talib, Danielle, Michael, Matthew, MaKabe, Dominic, Donavon, and Kenzli. Noma enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, volunteering at her church, and giving back as a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) and Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She also loved traveling and was fortunate enough to do so later in her life. There is no sweeter soul than hers and she will be incredibly missed but there is no greater celebration than knowing she is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 27 from 4pm-8pm at Vondel L Smith and Son Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at Village Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 28 at 10am.
