Nollie Marie Degraffenreed, age 86, died peacefully on April 19, 2018 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Born the daughter of Stokley L. Jacobs and Lula Smith at Eufaula, Oklahoma on Feb 3, 1932.

Nollie thoroughly enjoyed being a housewife and raising her 6 children and some of her grandchildren.

She was very active in her church, helped where ever she could. Her and her husband supported, helped build, taught Sunday School and faithfully attended their church wherever they lived. She currently attended First Apostolic Church of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Nola moved to Lompoc, California to help take care of her brother’s children where she met and married the love of her life, Mr. John T. Degraffenreed. John (J. T.) was a welder for nearly 50 years. He worked in the oil fields in and around Santa Maria and Bakersfield, California.

Nollie is survived by 4 children, John Ernest and his wife Carolyn of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Helen Irene, Thomas Lee and his wife Sandra, and Barbara Gay of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren; Lisa, Shelly, Andrew, Mandi, Nancie, Billy and Kandace, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, a sister, Neoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; Elsie, Liddel (Dub), Virginia, Herbert and Floyd, her children, Elaine and Shirley, and grandchildren Debbie, Kristel and Jerry.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa at 2:00 pm Friday, May 4, 2018 with Interment following at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, Oklahoma.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home 1208 South Main in Sapulpa.
