Nadine Rose 67, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Nadine was born March 14, 1952 in Hoffman, Oklahoma to Loren and Willine (Roggers) Howk. She worked at Bartlett Collins in Sapulpa for more than 15 years. Then she found her true calling as a PCA and massage therapist. She loved helping others. She did this until she retired.
Nadine met and later married the love of her life Omer Edd Rose Jr. (Junior). They where married on September 23, 1981 and recently celebrated 38 years of marriage. If anyone knew them, you knew that there wasnt one with out the other. They where stuck together like glue!. They enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, picnics, anything to do with outdoors. She looked forward to her family reunions every year in Arkansas. But spending time with family and friends was most important to her, when she could.
She had a caring and compassionate “heart of gold”. Making sure people she knew was taken care of. She was loved and will greatly be missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband Junior of the home, and 1 daughter Samantha Rose of Sapulpa, and 3 grandchildren.
Nadine is survived by sisters Suize Hawkins of Henryetta, Phyllis and Keith Oglesby of Henryetta, Leona and Rick Oglesby of Henryetta, Mae mae of Sandsprings. Brothers JR Howk of Cheetah, Billy Howk of Mounds and Jewell (Jeral) Howk of Hoffman. 2 sister n laws Kathy Kitson of Bristow and Dorothy and David Stanford of Bristow. And a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Nadine is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Ervin James Holden. Brothers Jeroge Howk and Johnny Waine Howk and sister Dorothy Howk.
Service will be Thursday, Feburary 6th, 2020. 2:00 pm at Smith funeral home Chapel. With Rev. Noah Marshall officiating.
