Michael Littlebear, 65, of Hollywood, FL formerly of Sapulpa departed from this life on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Hollywood, FL.
He was born to the late Calvin and Esther (Seber) Littlebear on June 20, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Michael was 65 years old.
Michael attended Sequoyah High School. Michael served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
Left to cherish all the memories of Michael are his wife, Wanda of the home; son, Calvin; grandchildren, Hayden, Tristan, and Cale of the home; and numerous other grandchildren; Michael’s siblings are Pam Littlebear, Lois Littlebear, Susan Littlebear, Daniel Littlebear, Patrick Littlebear and Brenda Littlebear. He has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was a member of the Duck Creek and Polecat Ceremonial Stomp Grounds. Michael enjoyed listening and singing stomp dance songs and was happy when he was able to dance at the grounds.
Michael was preceded in death by his sons, John Littlebear and Michael (Turtle) Littlebear; and brother, Nelson Littlebear.
Prayer service will be held at 7 pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 with Funeral services following at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 both being held at Oakhurst Indian Fellowship Church, 6130 S 58th W Ave, Tulsa, OK, 74131. Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK
