Mia Babcock

With a heart full of tender reminiscences, we celebrate the life of Mia Babcock, who passed away on May 30, 2026. A radiant spirit whose life was an embodiment of love and creativity, she left an indelible imprint in the lives of those she touched.

Born to Mark and Cheryl Taber on August 31, 1981 in Cushing, Oklahoma, Mia’s childhood was filled with warmth and joy. Her pursuit of diverse hobbies was a testament to her boundless curiosity and zest for life. From cooking to singing and photography, Mia, had a knack for turning the simple into the extraordinary. Animals found a friend in her, and her love for gardening and growing plants and flowers was a testament to her belief in the beauty of tradition. Her passion for acting was a reflection of her ability to empathize and connect with people from all walks of life.

Preceded in death by her mother Cheryl Tabor and grandmother Mildred Louise Mustain, Mia is survived by her beloved husband, Brian, and their four sons, Adriel, Logan, Jesse and John. Her legacy also lives on in her father, Mark Taber, her brothers, Chad Taber and spouse Laurel, and Thomas Taber. Her father and mother in law, Randy and Janice Babcock. Sister in law Bree Elliott. Numerous nephews and a niece.

As we remember Mia, let us celebrate the life she lived and cherish the memories she left behind. Mia Babcock will forever remain in our hearts, her love and spirit shaping our lives for the better

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, at the Blue Ridge Cemetery in Calvin, OK.
