Lora Trail Cartland passed away April 14, 2021 from heart disease. She was born in Bradleyville, Missouri on January 19, 1948 to William Trail and Edna Myers Trail. Siblings to Wanda, Howard and Janice, Kathy and Mark, and as well as Jackie and Leon. She attended high school to her senior year and subsequently went into the retail industy after high school. But, most of all she was a wonderful house wife. It was her love for adventure that fueled her life-long love of travel, with her favorite destinations being in Alaska and Green Leaf Park in Oklahoma. She took great pleasure introducing her family to her favorite destinations and sharing photos of her travels. It was her family that provided her greatest joy. Faye loved them fiercely and was so proud of them and their families. She was a wonderful wife of 42 years to Joe. Faye was very loving, kind hearted, caring and considerate of others, she was stubborn, dangerous and wild at times, fearless, and strong willed. It was very known that she loved her son Jerry and his wife Jessica and above all their daughter Fayelee. Her son Tommy and his children Melissa, Kimberly and her husband Joe, also Lynnetta and her husband Shoricore. Faye loved her son John and his children Brice and Kenneth. Her daughter Joy and her children Hannah, Brenna, and Emma. She was even a great grandmother to some; TJ, Mazikenn, Easton, and Aubrey. Faye was very close with her long time neighbors and friends some of over 20 years. She talked about them often as well as shared the good times they had together. Faye also enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, shopping, taking an occasional ride on the harley, planting, watching day time dramas, and playing word puzzles or dominos. Her favorite times of year were any holidays, and family get togethers. She was blessed to have such a large family, she was cherished by everyone and will be strongly missed by all. While funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, April 19, 2021 at Green Hill Funeral Home and Faye will be laid to rest at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, A celebration of life will also be held at 3223 South 212 East Avenue Broken Arrow, OK 74014 after the service.
