Kenny McGuire was born on March 26, 1965 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Arthur “Sonny” McGuire and Darlene King. Kenny attended Kiefer schools and worked as a purchasing agent at Car Mart. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing and joking with friends and family. He was always dependable and could be counted on by those he loved. Always quick to lend a hand or an ear to a friend and he was also ready to donate when he saw a need. He was a great cook and the best at smoking meats. He was a good husband to Lisa, a wonderful dad to his girls, took his nephew under his wing, a friend to many and had a special relationship with his grandson Kash. Kenny knew how to be a friend and retained lifelong friendships with many. He enjoyed tinkering outside and could fix anything. Some of his favorite ways to spend time were riding his motorcycle and recently added fishing, however, his favorite way to spend his time was with his grandson. Kenny is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa McGuire. He is also survived by sister Dede McGuire-Rogers; two daughters Heather Colvin and Lacey Mauldin and son-in-law Andy Mauldin; grandson Kashus Johnson; nieces and nephews Marissa and Zack McGuire and Angela Matlock; brother-in-law Wayne Matlock; Dominic Fox; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend of many years, Deon Grove. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Arthur “Sonny” McGuire and Darlene King McGuire; sisters Rita McGuire and Cindy Matlock; brother Bruce McGuire; and his nephew Brandon Matlock. Kenny held a special place in many hearts. He will be greatly missed.
